About Sucrosomial Zinc

A head-to-head test of Sucrosomial Zinc versus zinc gluconate found Sucrosomial Zinc had faster absorption and was 80 percent more bioavailable 8 hours after administration.
Mechanism of Action
Sucrosomial technology is a unique and innovative technique, where the zinc molecule is conveyed into a liposomal-like structure made up of a phospholipids and sucrose ester of fatty acids (sucresters), called sucrosome. The sucresters act as emulsifiers, dispersing the zinc within the sucrosome structure, thereby increasing its absorption and bioavailability.
Sucrosomial technology increases the tolerability of zinc supplementation by encasing the mineral within a liposomial-like structure. Because the zinc does not interact with the intestinal mucosae, Sucrosomial® Zinc is free of common side effects such as gastrointestinal distress. Palatability is also improved because the sensitive mucous membranes of the mouth never come into contact with the mineral.
